ADMISSION TO JUNIOR COLLEGE

The student should make an application for admission to Junior College in the prescribed form immediately after the declaration of the Std. X exam of previous year, students who have passed the SSC examination of any statutory board in India shall be admitted to the F.Y.J.C. class. Students who have taken their SSC examination from any other board than Maharashtra State board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune or the I. C. S. E. examination will have to obtain an eligibility certificate from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Pune. They have to submit it to the college at the time of admission.

Students who have passed the F.Y.J.C. exam in Science, Arts or Commerce from a recognized Higher Secondary School or Junior College in Maharshatra State are eligible for admission in S.Y.J.C. Science, Commerce or Arts as the case may be, provided they have the leaving certificate from the previous junior college and letter of permission from the Deputy Director of Education, Pune Region. Students coming from local junior colleges will have to submit the no objection Certificate (NOC).

Students who have taken the Government Commerical Diploma Examination besides passing the Secondary School Certificate Examination will be admitted to SYJC Commerce stream provided they submit the original statement of marks and leaving certificate in original  from the Commissioner,  Government  Bureau  of Examination,  Pune.

Students who have passed their F.Y. J.C. examination from any other state can seek admission in S.Y.J.C. provided they have passed the F.Y.J.C. examination and the mark list is a at par with F.Y.J.C. mark list of Maharashtra Board. Such students will have to obtain an eligibility certificate from Marharashtra Board of Secondary Education at the time of admission will be admitted from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune . To obtain this certificate they have to apply in the prescribed form to the Divisional Secretary along with requisite fees. The authority to grant admission is the sole discretion of the Principal.
