The students should offer the same subjects in S.Y.J.C which they had offered in F. Y. J. C.
PRACTICAL EXAMINATION (H.S.C)
The practical examination will be held only at the end of the year. There shall be no
term end practical examination. The practical Examination will be conducted before the
commencement of the annual theory examination.
PRACTICAL EXAMINATION
Practical examination in each practical course will be based on the syllabus of
practical laid down for the entire year Practical examination in each Practical Course
will carry 100 marks.
ORAL EXAM :
A 20 marks Oral Exam will be conducted for both the terms in 1st language and in the 2nd language.
PHYSICAL TRAINING :
Physical training is compulsory for all the students of the junior college as prescribed by the
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. They are
required to attend 75 % of P T. and parades arranged for them by the college.
Students of the Junior College will have to take P T. Examination at the end of the
second term. In P T. Examination a student can score 50 marks (max) and minimum 22
marks are necessary for passing the examination. Students are trained by expert coaches to
play at the State Level matches.
INTRODUCTION TO MINIMUM COMPETENCY
VOCATIONAL SUBJECTS AT + 2 STAGE :
Government of India in its policy of the Education 1986 contemplated vocational education
having minimum competencies in various fields which will enable students to learn useful
and meaningful skills in cognitive as well as psychomotor domain. The State Board has
therefore prepared the syllabi of20 minimum competency vocational subjects under
Engineering and Technology. Agriculture, Business and Commerce, Catering and Food
Technology. Fishery and Paramedical Groups with the assistance of the Directorate of
Vocational Education and Training. These subjects are introduced from the academic year
1988 - 89 at + 2 stage and the first H. S. C. Examination at the end of standard XII was
conducted in March 1990. Our Junior College is permitted to run the M. C. V C. Course.
(XI and XII) in Electronics Technology, MLT and Creche and Preshcool Management
The above job oriented courses are recongnised by the Maharashtra State Board of SSC and
HSC Education, Pune and have plenty of wage employment and self employment.
