GIRLS HOSTEL
The Campus of Haji Gulam Mohd. Azam Education Trust can also boast of having a
Girls Hostel. The students who are deprived of joining college due to improper
accommodation facilities can avail of this facility and fulfill their dreams. Hostel Facility is
available on the merit basis.
BOOK BANK SCHEME
The college has a Book Bank Scheme by which books are lent for the entire academic
year to poor and deserving students. Students may apply for books in the prescribed
application form which can be acquired from the library on payment of Rs. 1/ only. The form
should be submitted to librarian duly filled in along with the Income Certificate of the parent /
guardian. The decision of the Book Bank Committee for the lending of books from the Book
Bank will be final. After the academic year the student should return the book immediately or
latest within a week after the examination is over. The student will have to pay a nominal
charge of Rs. 1 /- per book as for binding.
FREESHIP
Free Education to Girls.

2) Government of India Scholarship Awarded to the B. C. Students
The students applying for the Government of India B. C. Scholarship for the last
academic year should submit their forms duly filled in all respects within 30 days of
admission and in any case before 31st July. No . Application will accepted after 31st July.
The following documents should be attached along with the form
- Income Certificate (if Government employee).
- Income Certificate from the Tehasildar, if parent / guardian are in private service.
- Caste Certificate
- Statement of examination appeared for.
- Forms of undertaking
- Scholarship for Physically Orthopedically handicapped Students.
- Government of Maharashtra Open Merit Scholarship.
- Concession for the children of Freedom Fighters.
- Free Scholarship for children of Defence personnels.
- Student studying in Junior College classes should submit the form of declaration in duplicate for free ship.

- Caste Certificate
COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP AND AID :
Students securing 85% or more marks at the public examination / SSC / HSC
examination will be considered for the award of college Merit Scholarship. Free
scholarship in the form of full or partial remission of tuition fee may be granted to poor and
deserving students at the beginning of every term. Special concession is given to the
student from economically backward communities.
LIBRARY
To enhance the skills of independent learning, our college is equipped with a spacious
library. This indispensible unit is a store house of universal wisdom in the form of books,
dictionaries, encyclopedias, videos, audio’s and Cds, students can avail of these facilities
home reading and reference reading to fulfil their vivacious interests.
Student desirous of borrowing book for study at home will have to pay an amount of
Rs. 20 (Twenty only) as caution money. They should submit their caution money receipt
and identity card to the librarian.
On this card, one book will be issued for home reading for a period of six days only. For
borrowing a book for home reading the students should submit the demand slip a day
earlier and collect the book the next day. Students are expected to return the books
borrowed by them on demand slip.
Reference book such as Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, Atlas, Current periodicals, Board
Question Paper sets, etc. will not be issued for home - reading
These books can however, be made available in the library during the regular working
hours for reference only.
A student is expected to check the pages of the book belonging to the library before borrowing
it.
No book will be issued to any student either for reading in the reading room or for
home study unless the student produces her identity card.
READING ROOM :
“Reading makes a man perfect”. Our reading room facilities enable studen t to
sharpen their reading skills to acquire perfection. Adequate light, well furnished equipments and a
pleasant atmosphere inspire students to read. This facility provides optimum benefit to students
provided they follow its rules.
The student should maintain silence in the reading hall. Indiscipline in the reading hall will be
viewed very seriously and the student will be liable for strict action.
Student should not mark or mutilate the library book in any way.
Text books, question paper sets, syllabus, magazines and reference books issued for reading in
the reading room should not be taken out of the reading room. Under any circumstances,
books borrowed by the students for reading in the reading room should be returned at the
counter before leaving the library.
Any student disobeying the rules of the library or reading room will be liable for strict
disciplinary action which can amount to cancellation of her membership from the library or
even rustication from the college.
The library attendant on duty at the entrance of the library is authorised to examine everything
that passes into or out of the library.
The college leaving or transfer certificate will not be issued to any student who has not returned
the library books.
V. M. GANY SPORTS COMPLEX
Abeda Inamdar Junior College for Girls considers Sports to be an integral part of
its curriculum with this aspect in mind, manifold sports activities are arranged throughout the
year to enhance the potentialities and talents of students. The college stadium will now invite
intercollegiate and state level tournaments. Discipline is expected to be maintained on the
college ground. Details of the tournaments shall be displayed on the notice board from time to
time.
CONTINUOUS EVALUATION
Abeda Inamdar Junior College exeucutes continuous evaluation of students
progress through class tests, unit tests, term exams and prelims. This equips the students to
enhance their percentage to secure admissions in prospective fields. A cumulative record of
std XI is maintained to develop their personality.
Vehicle stand facility is available for parking vehicles.
